Meet our Team

A former SAS soldier and three brothers with three world records.

John Davidson

Managing Director

John Davidson is a former SAS soldier from Dundee with a life time of experience facing hostile environments during his military service and numerous expeditions around the world. John rowed across the Atlantic alone in 75 days enduring a couple of broken autopilots, sea-sickness, a debilitating virus and one of the toughest solo crossings in the history of the race. He is the first 22 SAS soldier to row the southern Atlantic solo and also the oldest Scot to complete the world’s toughest row.

The MacLean Brothers

Directors

Ewan, Jamie and Lachlan MacLean are three brothers from Edinburgh with many years of experience at leading each other astray in hostile environments. The brothers set three world records rowing the Atlantic in 35 days, enduring sleep deprivation, technical failures and each other’s company.

Whilst preparing their next big adventure, Ewan works as an engineer, Jamie a designer and Lachlan a philosophy student.
